I'd read online that some didn't like it because when the Bold is in the pod it can easily tip. In my usage I have not had any problems with the base tumbling. There's a grippy rubber bottom to the stand that further keeps it from moving around when knocked. Could you inadvertently knock over your Bold while it's in this stand? Absolutely. The bold sticks up about 4 to 6" so it becomes an easier target. That's going to be an issue with any charging stand of this type. What's cool (and I didn't expect) is there's a white light at the back of this pod so you can find it in the dark (useful if used as bedside charger stand) to re-cradle your BlackBerry Bold. As the description say's, this is a charging pod only - you'll need to supply your own charger (and BlackBerry Bold). The fit is perfect. Drop your Bold. It charges. Enough said.
